What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lunch Crew Member position at Parsley Mediterranean Grille?
Primarily looking for staff available M-F, part-time. Hours would be10:30am-3pm, or longer.
Candidate must be hard working, a quick learner, and able to work well in a fast paced environment. This job is heavily team based, meaning working and communicating with others appropriately is a requirement.
Employee must be able to memorize the full menu, which consists of salads, wraps, rice bowls, and appetizers. They will also learn to take orders on our register system, make food orders, and package them for customer pick-up. They should also become familiar with our GrubHub, Doordash, and Uber Eats tablets.
Prep work is another key component, such as folding bread, filling up sauces/dressings, and restocking our food line. Cleaning tasks like sweeping, wiping off tables, and keeping the main food line clean are also some of the main elements of this job. Trainees will learn all positions of our front of service, as the work is shared among employees.
The restaurant is set up cafe style so there is no hosting or serving positions. This job includes many benefits such as a free meal with every shift, paid breaks, flexible scheduling, and sick pay.
