What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back End Java Developer position at PARSETEK INC?
They are mostly focusing on Java Spring services, they must have some AWS experience, have worked in the environment, to that point we are relaxing on migration experience. Having AWS experience, certification count - they need to have able to demonstrate AWS knowledge but not an expert. Also, one of the feedback items they told us that candidates must explain / reflect their own experience and are able to explain it thoroughly in the interview à this is what our candidates are lacking I was told. On paper they looks so good, but during interviews they fail on that part.
Job Requirements or Skills Required:
- 4 years of Java/J2EE programming experience
- 3 years of experience in full stack development using Java, WebServices (REST and SOAP), JavaScript (JQuery or React or Angular), Spring, Hibernate
- 3 years of experience developing enterprise level web applications utilizing Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE), XML, or Web Services
- 2 years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Knowledge of web development specifics, including JSON, REST, web and microservices architectures, and HTTP specification
- Experience developing applications to be deployed on app servers such as JBoss EAP, Tomcat
- Experience automating unit and integration testing in a test-driven development with CI/CD model
- Experience with Source Control (Git or SVN)
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 or later)
- Strong understanding of OO programming including interfaces.
- Good teamwork and strong collaboration skills.
- Experience with best practices and design patterns for writing clean, reusable, and highly organized code
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git, Bitbucket, or Jira
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s in computer science or related field
