Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Onsite in VA / NJ / MD

Duration: 12 months contract

Contract Type: W2

Experience: Minimum 7-15 years of experience required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5 10 years of experience in back-end engineering or data engineering roles.

Very strong Java development experience including multithreading, collections, performance tuning, and API development.

Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (RDD/DataFrame API, tuning, partitioning).

Strong ETL development background (custom ETL or Glue-based ETL).

Experience with AWS services: AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB

Experience with distributed systems architecture, serverless design, and event-driven workflows.

Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and Agile development.
