Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances and mechanical components following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future planning.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
- Assist with the repair and upkeep of building infrastructure, including air conditioning units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems.
- Support construction or renovation projects by providing technical expertise in mechanical systems repair and installation.
Requirements
- Experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), or mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment maintenance, and appliance installation. HVAC/R certified is a plus.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively; experience with construction projects is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and troubleshooting under pressure.
