We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optical Sales Associate / Optical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have optical sales experience, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of basic optical lab procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best fit their visual needs, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and available products.
- Dispense eyewear, perform adjustments, repairs, and troubleshoot eyewear issues.
- Assist with optical lab duties, including edging, mounting, inspections, and quality control.
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with vision insurance billing and claim processing.
- Process optical orders accurately and communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming optical environment.
- Provide exceptional service and help build lasting relationships with our patients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in optical sales or an optical practice required.
- Knowledge of vision insurance verification, billing, and claim processing.
- Basic optical lab knowledge, including edging, mounting, adjustments, and repairs, is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a busy optical environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
