Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our leadership team in Boiling Springs. This is a full-time, on-site role designed for a professional who is ready to "own" the front-of-house operations.
As the primary liaison between our customers and our technicians, you will be the face of Parr 3 Automotive. You won't just be "writing tickets"; you will be managing the shop’s workflow, translating complex technical diagnostics into clear solutions for our customers, and helping our team scale to meet increasing demand. This role works directly with the Operations Manager to ensure the shop runs efficiently without compromising the personalized service our clients expect.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM. We value our team's time; we are closed on weekends.
Responsibilities- Customer Experience: Lead the check-in/check-out process with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Digital Workflow: Master and utilize Tekmetric to build estimates, manage DVIs (Digital Vehicle Inspections), and communicate with customers in real-time.
- Service Sales: Confidently explain and sell recommended services by focusing on vehicle health and value.
- Triage & Logistics: Coordinate with the shop floor and parts vendors to ensure repair orders are accurate and deadlines are met.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a Service Advisor (Independent shop or Dealership).
- Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and the ability to explain them clearly.
- Digital Proficiency: Experience with Tekmetric or similar cloud-based shop management systems is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a "team-first" attitude.
- Detail Oriented: Ability to manage multiple repair orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; ASE C1 (Service Consultant) or similar certifications are a significant plus.
