Seeking a graphic package designer with beauty and retail signage experience to create visuals for campaigns, social media, luxury packaging, and in-store displays. This role blends creative design skills with an understanding of retail and beauty trends, requiring proficiency in design software and strong collaboration with marketing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop innovative graphic concepts, execute designs for print and digital platforms, and adapt brand assets to various media to drive brand recognition and sales.
- Responsible for keeping an organized system for frequent requests in updating regulatory and item codes on packaging, bottom labels and ancillaries.
- Create and resize product ads for publications, social media images and digital campaigns.
- Design printed mailer cards and signs for promotional events.
- Render in-store merchandising for department stores, including counter displays, tester units, end cap displays, shelf talkers and holiday displays.
- Create gif animations for web.
- Edit/Retouch photography.
- Prep and package files to send to the printer.
- Design and execute packaging for gift sets.
- Design presentation templates for tools for sales team.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of professional design experience, preferably in beauty, luxury, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing 360 campaign design, packaging, retail and visual merchandising, and digital work.
- Expert in artwork file preparation for print and high-end packaging.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Familiarity with 3D rendering tools is a plus.
- Strong design sense and expertise in color, typography, composition, and image retouching, with a deep understanding of beauty and luxury branding.
- Highly organized with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
