Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented GRAPHIC DESIGNER/PRODUCTION LEAD to oversee artwork preparation and manage the daily flow of production. This role bridges the art department and production floor, ensuring jobs move efficiently from approval to output.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and output color separations for our Direct-to-Screen unit
- Send artwork proofs and manage artwork approvals with customers
- Select appropriate ink colors and Pantone matches for print jobs
- Output embroidery files to the embroidery department (no digitizing required)
- Choose thread colors for embroidery jobs
- Manage production workflow and prioritize jobs based on deadlines and importance
- Coordinate with production staff to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule
Qualifications
- Experience in screen printing, embroidery, or apparel decoration preferred
- Familiarity with color separations and Pantone color matching
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with design/production software (Illustrator, CorelDRAW, etc.) is a plus
