Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing, the Assistant E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving growth and optimizing the DTC experience across our founder-led fragrance portfolio. This role combines technical e-commerce expertise with creative digital marketing strategy, overseeing site operations, PDP ownership, merchandising, email and CRM campaigns, and third-party vendor coordination.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, bringing a solution-oriented approach to optimizing the customer experience and elevating brand performance.
Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Operations & PDP Management:
- Own the product detail page (PDP) setup, site updates, and enhancements for both DTC and retailer platforms ensuring accuracy, visual appeal, alignment with brand standards, and support for the wider brand portfolio.
- Execute seasonal and ongoing site updates, coordinating creative assets and cross-functional requirements.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with e-commerce partners and platforms, including Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgias, Triple Whale, and others.
- Serve as a key point of contact for agency and licensor partners on specific projects and initiatives, ensuring priorities and deliverables are met, while reporting day-to-day to the Senior Manager.
Promotions, Emails & CRM:
- Lead the DTC promotional calendar; forecasting, planning, and coordinating campaigns across teams.
- Develop and support email marketing strategy and layouts in partnership with the Senior Manager.
- Manage CRM segmentation, analyzing customer behavior to build audience segments that support lifecycle, retention, and paid media initiatives.
Merchandising & Inventory Support:
- Maintain overall product merchandising across DTC and retailer platforms, ensuring presentation and alignment with brand standards.
- Support the Senior Manager with inventory planning and management across the brand portfolio, helping ensure accurate forecasting, availability, and alignment with merchandising and promotional strategies for both DTC and retail channels.
Analytics & Insights:
- Monitor performance analytics across DTC sites and digital marketing channels; report on KPIs and provide actionable insights.
- Regularly create recap decks on promotional performance and monthly business results.
- Conduct competitive analyses of DTC fragrance and beauty brands to inform strategy and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, preferably with a consumer brand.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and operations; Shopify experience required.
- Experience with PDP management, site enhancements, and digital merchandising.
- Proficiency in Klaviyo, CRM segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and paid media fundamentals.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator with experience managing external vendors and agency partners.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into clear recommendations.
