What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Parlor Hospitality Group LLC?
DISPATCHER
Located in the heart of the West Loop, Wicker Park, and River North, Parlor’s menu features fresh, local ingredients for brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night service. Our ideal dispatcher receives orders on the phone, on tablets (from third party delivery services), and in person. Orders must be rung in correctly and efficiently. Organizing of orders, ensuring the correct items are included and orders are given to the right person. We are looking for passionate industry professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with drivers on delivery needs
- Assemble assigned delivery orders (i.e. add plates, dressings, etc.)
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned based on business (i.e. answer phones, basic food prep, fold boxes, light cleaning, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 years of Customer Service Experience
- Good phone voice / upbeat personality
- Ability to multitask with computers and technology
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Great communicator and works well under pressure
- Past dispatching experience is a plus
