BARTENDER

Located in the heart of the River North, a new concept from Parlor Hospitality Group features late-night service.  Our ideal Bartender candidate will oversee their section behind the bar as well as on the floor. Pouring craft beer, and wine, and mixing cocktails for guests while creating a lively environment. Candidates will be responsible for building a culture based on Teamwork, Execution, and Fun. Our ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and has a positive attitude. You will be expected to promote and sell our product with the highest standards of hospitality.  We are looking for passionate industry professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets guests in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome.
• Exhibit proper knowledge, bartending techniques, and delivery of Beverage offerings.
• Describe Beverage features daily.
• Oversee bar maintenance and coordinate service at the bar with fellow team members.
• Work with a sense of urgency always to provide anticipatory service which anticipates the guests’ needs and appreciates the fine details of service.
• Communicate with management regarding all customer needs comments or incidents. 
• Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and Health Department following all health and safety regulations. 
• Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned. 
• Complying with health and food safety standards, restocking items, and cleaning

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a bartender in a fast fast-paced high-volume bar.
• Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed.
• Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, use stairs, finely manipulate, and key in data.
• Sunday availability
• Craft beer & wine knowledge is a plus.
• Aloha POS system knowledge is a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age to bartend.
• Must have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts our business.
