Den (Back of House) Overview:
Parlor Doughnuts is a craft doughnut and coffee shop offering an array of unique bakery items, including our original layered doughnuts; vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products; artisanal breakfasts; and specialty coffee. Our goal is to efficiently deliver a superior product, at a moderate price, with exceptional service, in a comfortable setting.
Parlor Doughnuts Venice is growing our team! To hand craft a quality layered doughnut from start to finish that meets or exceeds the Parlor standard. Den/Back of House workers are responsible for ensuring a full display of doughnuts, while meeting the needs of the customer.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare layered doughnuts from start to finish.
- Must keep a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep inventory, glazes, and toppings, full.
- Maintain fryers.
- Complete all daily tasks per Back of House Checklists
- Maintain dress code.
- Restock doughnuts as needed.
- Help Front of House when needed.
- Must be on time for opening shift (4:00am).
- Daily Donut Delivery to our Siesta Key Location.
- Clean Driving Record
- Additional Duties as required
Qualifications
- Leadership skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Base of culinary knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Able to juggle multiple tasks in fast environment
- Physical stamina to withstand a full shift potentially on their feet
- Conflict resolution
- 25 years or older
Education and Experience
- Practical experience in various food service positions preferred
- Must obtain/maintain Serv Safe® or State certification
- Knowledge/training/certification in kitchen emergencies (First Aid, CPR, Fires)
