Job Summary:
The PPG Informatics Specialist will be responsible to work with providers, clinical, and other staff to optimize usage of EHR through education and implementation of optimal build and/or workflow improvements. Provides education and support in accordance with organization goals, acts as liaison on behalf of provider/clinical EHR needs and implements ongoing tactics for knowledge sustainment. Understands all workflows impacting providers and has a basic understanding of build requirements for the EHR and associated 3rd party applications. Responsible for project planning and collaborates with providers, co‐workers, leaders, I/S and other pertinent departments throughout the health system. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement in application functionality or workflow processes related to electronic health record.
