Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to optimize product availability
- Conduct employee orientations, training sessions, and ongoing coaching to enhance team performance
- Recruit temporary staff as needed for the season through interviewing and selection processes
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment that aligns with company standards and safety regulations
Skills
- Strong leadership skills with prior supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Proficiency in retail math, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processing
