Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions to enhance their shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision while maintaining excellent cash handling procedures.
- Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities.
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is tidy and inviting.
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring products are well-presented.
Requirements
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills needed.
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills, and retail math concepts for accurate transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and perform stocking duties as needed.
- Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of upselling techniques.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
