What are the responsibilities and job description for the Universal Worker-NOC Shift position at Parkside Living?
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a nursing home setting
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement individualized care plans and follow established protocols
- Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' health status
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and therapists
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
