The DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown is seeking a highly enthusiastic food and beverage professional to join our team as a PM Dishwasher/Prep! This position offers a fun and exciting opportunity to work with a "service first" company with future growth opportunities. The DoubleTree is ideally located in downtown Asheville and is a contemporary rustic speak easy offering seasonally driven craft cocktails and a locally inspired small plate menu. Guests can breathe in the fresh mountain air while enjoying stunning panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Responsibilities:
• Load/unload dishes, glassware and cutlery into the commercial dishwasher and store clean dishes
• Maintain back of house areas including storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls, bars, and other service areas in a clean and safe manner.
• Clean and mop floors and remove trash from the back of house to take to the dumpster.
• Prep and maintain food items to meet needs of kitchen.
• Maintain waste log and temperature log.
• Assist culinary staff in food preparation.

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 years Upscale Casual or Fine Dining Experience.
• Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.
