Trailer Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and customer-oriented Trailer Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers select the perfect new or used trailer (utility, dump, equipment, cargo, horse etc.) while building lasting relationships. You will manage the entire sales process, from prospecting new leads to delivering the final product. You will also learn to sell trailer accessories and add on products such as theft and tire & wheel insurance. Come unlock your potential and start a career that can lead to a six figure income.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers, listen to their needs, and guide them to the right trailer, taking into account towing capacity, GVWR, and intended use.
• Product Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all trailer lines, accessories, financing options, and warranty information.
• Sales Process: Interact with customers in-store, on the phone and through various social media. Follow up on inbound leads, prepare quotes, sales orders and close sales.
• Documentation: Accurately complete sales paperwork.
• Inventory & Marketing: Assist in taking photos of units, updating website inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized sales lot.
• Delivery: Perform customer walk arounds and familiarize the customer with the product features as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in trailer sales, RV sales, auto sales, or heavy equipment sales preferred.
• Technical Skills: General knowledge of towing, hitch systems, trailer braking systems, and electrical components.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to communicate in Spanish is desirable but not required.
• Requirements: Colorado Motor Vehicle SALES license.
• Technology: Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft products.
• Schedule: Willingness to work M-F and Saturdays 9-1 during the summer.
