Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers with manual transmission, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and route driving plans to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and cargo to ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations and truck safety standards.
- Deliver propane to residential customers while maintaining high safety standards for hazardous materials handling.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or safety concerns during transit.Experience.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for Hazmat (hazardous materials) and Tanker
