What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook / Kitchen Staff position at Parker Personal Care Home?
Job duties include but not limited to:
Meal preparation for 3 meals a day. The daylight shift that works 5:30am to 1pm cooking and serving breakfast and lunch. The evening shifts the works 12:30pm to 7:30pm cooking and serving dinner as well as providing snack to the residents at snack time (7pm). Each shift is responsible to wash the dishes after each meal. Each shift is responsible to prepare their needed food preparations and dessert (when needed) for the next day.
Each shift is required to keep their workspace clean and sanitary. Each shift has a list of cleaning that is to be done before the end of their shift. Restocking is required in the kitchen.
Meals should be plated to be appealing to the eye.
You are also required to prep the drinks for the meals and place them on the dining tables for each meal.
Starting wage is $11.50, once 90-day probation period is completed wage to increase to $12.00 (this starting wage is based on no experience) Yearly raises after that based on performance reviews. Starting pay negotiable based on experience
Every other weekend and holiday availability is required. Currently hiring someone available to work the day shift and someone available to work a mixture of day and evening shift. Kitchen staff currently work 12-hour shifts on Sunday in order to grant every other weekend.

Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
