Maintenance Department Service Technician
Join Our Team at Parker Oil & Propane!
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-minded Maintenance Department Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working in a fast-paced environment while keeping safety and customer service a top priority.
What You’ll Do
As a Service Technician, you will:

Safely install and repair company- and customer-owned equipment.

Drive and operate a service truck with crane or bucket for repairs and installations.

Troubleshoot and repair fuel dispensers, electronics, electrical and mechanical equipment (training provided).

Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and national safety and regulatory standards.

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

Safely use gasoline-powered equipment, power tools, and hand tools.

Occasionally perform repairs on LP (liquid propane) equipment.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For

A valid Virginia or North Carolina driver’s license (required). Class B CDL Preferred with the ability to obtain a Class A
-
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to safety and quality.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in enclosed spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.

Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform hands-on mechanical work.
