Café Attendant - Somerset - Part time - Hourly rate $19.25 - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate homelike environment in a new state-of-the-art community - 8:00am - 4:00pm, (2) two days per week including every other Monday and Thursday and alternating weekends - The Café Attendant will be responsible for ensuring high quality meals are professionally prepared, presented and served with excellent customer service and honor all preferences and choices.

Parker at Somerset post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care residence
Parker at Somerset is a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing home, located on 10 beautifully wooded acres in Somerset, New Jersey. As an Eden Alternative® registered home , we are well-known for the compassionate, quality long-term nursing care provided to elders in a comfortable, home-like environment. We also offer comprehensive post-acute rehabilitation with round-the-clock skilled and sub-acute nursing services. Parker at Somerset was honored with a Five-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), in all categories, which places the community as one of the top-rated nursing homes in the state. Recreational activities and special programs, including a Personal Enrichment Program for elders with dementia, promote socialization, increasing the quality of life for each elder. Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. required.
- Food service experience required, cooking and culinary experience preferred.
- Skill and experience with long-term care and/or Dementia residents, preferred.
- ServeSafe Certified; or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful, and confidential manner.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
