Position Summary

Main Job Responsibilities
- Assist the accounting team with day-to-day operational accounting tasks and financial documentation.
- Analyse current accounting workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support documentation and standardization of accounting procedures.
- Assist with reconciliation and validation of financial records where needed.
- Collaborate with team leaders and cross-functional departments (contracts, purchasing, shipping, etc.) to better understand transaction flows.
- Support internal control initiatives such as segregation of duty review
- Prepare summaries, documentation, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Interest in process improvement, internal controls, and operational accounting a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with accounting systems not required but is a plus.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently on assigned projects.
Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule
- Pay Range: $18.42/hr to $30.7/hr
- No benefit plan eligibility
