Role Description
This is an internship role at the Office of Michael T Dickson CPA PC located in Holbrook, NY.
It will require 15-20 hours per week.
Days and times are flexible.
Salary $17- $20 per hour
As an Accounting Intern, you will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, the intake of client information, data entry, light bookkeeping, making appointments, assembling tax returns and greeting clients. This is an on-site position.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Quickbooks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
