Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and implement youth programs that promote personal growth, leadership, and community involvement.
- Build trusting relationships with youth by providing mentorship, guidance, and support tailored to their individual needs.
- Facilitate activities that incorporate positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) to encourage respectful behavior and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with families, schools, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for youth participants.
- Maintain accurate records of program participation, progress notes, case management documentation, and client communication logs.
- Conduct outreach efforts to engage culturally diverse communities and underserved populations in available programs.
- Support high-risk youth by providing resources, referrals, and case management assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational, social work, or youth development settings.
- Knowledge of special education needs, behavioral health principles, child welfare practices, and adolescent development.
- Strong written communication skills for report writing, documentation, and client correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for planning and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and individuals from underserved backgrounds.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a broader range of youth populations.
- Experience implementing positive behavioral interventions in classroom or program settings.
- Background in mentoring, youth program teaching, or social work is preferred.
- Excellent conflict management skills coupled with the ability to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Valid experience working with high-risk populations requiring tailored support strategies.
