Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mill Spring, NC, for a Tasting Room Associate. The Tasting Room Associate will assist in providing exceptional customer experiences, conducting wine tastings, educating customers about wine varieties, and promoting wine sales. Daily tasks include setting up and maintaining the tasting room, assisting customers with purchases, answering wine-related questions, and ensuring smooth operations. The role also involves fostering a positive, friendly environment while assisting guests with their wine journey.
Qualifications
- Strong Wine Education and Wine Sales knowledge or experience
- Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication Skills for guest engagement
- Proven Customer Service abilities to enhance visitor satisfaction
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and dynamic environment
- A passion for wine and hospitality
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- 1-2 years of experience in a tasting room, hospitality, or similar customer-facing role preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
