What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Veterinary Receptionist position at Parker Animal and Bird Clinic?
We're looking for a veterinary receptionist with 5 years experience to join our team! We’re a busy 4 doctor, full-service hospital that treats small animals and exotics. We are a trusted, privately owned practice that has been open and thriving since 1992. We truly believe that having a happy team is key to providing excellent patient care and customer service. Our receptionists must have a pleasant and professional attitude, go above and beyond, and be a team player. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments and surgeries in Cornerstone, checking clients in and obtaining a brief history, invoicing, checking clients out and more. This position is for reception/front desk only and does not include any technician duties.
Requirements:
- 5 years veterinary receptionist experience
- Detail-oriented, punctual, organized and able to multi-task in a busy environment
- Proficient in Cornerstone
- Excellent spelling and communication skills
- Legible handwriting
- Team player who enjoys working with others
- No schedule restrictions. Set schedule will consist of 4 weekdays (7:45am-6pm, 1 hour lunch), and Saturdays (7:45am-12pm). Days off will consist of one weekday, Sundays and one Saturday a month.
- Bonus but NOT required: avian and exotics experience, bilingual (Spanish)
