Since 1947, we've proudly served the Sherman community with personalized veterinary care, and we're entering an exciting new chapter with a brand-new hospital currently in development.

What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care while working closely with our veterinarians and fellow support staff.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with appointments and patient restraint
- Surgical preparation and patient monitoring (based on experience and credentials)
- Assisting with dentistry and dental radiographs
- Venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection (where permitted)
- Administering medications and treatments as allowed by training and state regulations
- Performing laboratory diagnostics
- Taking diagnostic radiographs
- Monitoring hospitalized patients
- Educating clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintaining accurate medical records using EzyVet
- Assisting with patient admissions and discharges
- Supporting urgent care and same-day sick appointments
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital
