What You'll Do
As an LVT, you'll play an essential role in delivering exceptional patient care while working closely with our veterinarians throughout appointments, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and nursing care.
Responsibilities include:
- Surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Laboratory sample collection and processing
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Perform diagnostic imaging
- Monitor hospitalized patients
- Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records using EzyVet
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges
- Support urgent care and same-day sick appointments
