State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) - MUST BE ON OH NA REGISTRY
Position Summary:
Park View Care Center is a full-service nursing facility specializing in complex care. We are committed to providing high-quality clinical and rehabilitative services in a compassionate, supportive environment designed to meet the evolving needs of our patients and residents.
As an STNA at Park View, you’ll provide individualized, high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive, home-like environment where residents feel supported, respected, and cared for.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
- Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the Charge Nurse.
- Accurately take and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators.
- Support nursing staff during treatments, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment.
- Participate in care planning and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
- Attend staff meetings, ongoing training, and assist with surveys and quality assurance activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program
- Valid STNA certification (meeting state and federal requirements)
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a caring, positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and meet physical demands of the position
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to ensure safe resident care
