Park View Federal Credit Union is now recruiting for an Information Security Analyst!
This role plays a vital part in protecting Park View's systems, data, and members by supporting and strengthening the organization's information security program. This position assists with core security functions, including risk assessments, access control reviews, business continuity planning, vendor and third-party security evaluations, incident response coordination, regulatory compliance activities, and security awareness initiatives.
This security analyst role ensures consistency and follow-through by gathering documents, tracking deadlines, collaborating with internal teams and departments, and preparing clear, accurate reporting. Through reliable execution, strong communication, and attention to detail, this role helps maintain effective and well-coordinated security programs.
Qualifications:Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in information security, IT support, systems administration, or IT risk/compliance
- Experience in a financial institution, credit union, or other regulated industry preferred.
Credentials, Certificates, Licenses
- Valid driver's license
- Security related certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to review technical information, identify discrepancies, and document findings clearly and accurately
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to track multiple deadlines and follow through reliably
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite and general comfort with learning new software tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, follow procedures, and escalate issues when appropriate
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Must maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and trustworthiness due to the sensitive nature of security work
