Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, commercial buildings, or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques such as buffing or waxing
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning products as needed
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and carpet cleaning methods
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and health standards
- Ability to perform light cooking or food preparation tasks (nice-to-have) for hospitality settings
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with laundry processes and housekeeper responsibilities in hospitality settings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
