Role Summary:
Park Place LTD is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Upholstery Technician Apprentice to join our growing restoration team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone eager to learn the craft of automotive upholstery in a hands-on, high-end environment.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, developing skills in automotive trimming, interior restoration, and custom upholstery. While we are primarily hiring at the apprentice level, skilled automotive trimmers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the upholstery team to develop automotive trimming and restoration skills.
• Assist with removal and reinstallation of seats, panels, carpets, and headliners.
• Support repairs including seat foam reconstruction, headliner replacement, and interior restoration.
• Identify and assist in repairing water leaks affecting vehicle interiors.
• Participate in disassembly and reassembly of automotive and marine (boat) cushions.
• Assist in fabricating and assembling interior components to specification.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow Park Place quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in automotive upholstery, restoration, or hands-on craftsmanship.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools required; automotive experience preferred.
• Familiarity with auto restoration or sewing machines is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and take direction.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position in a professional restoration workshop.
• Physical, hands-on work including standing, lifting, and tool use.
• Occasional overtime may be required.

Compensation:
Hourly rate dependent on experience (DOE), with clear growth opportunities.
