About Park Place Holdings
Park Place Holdings is a fast-growing, vertically integrated commercial real estate investment firm based in Northeast Wisconsin. We own and operate a diversified portfolio of office, retail, and multifamily assets, and we are actively acquiring, repositioning, and developing new opportunities.
We do not operate like a traditional real estate company. We move fast. We think like owners. We expect excellence. Our culture is built on:
- Stewardship
- Integrity
- Ownership
- Clear communication
- Urgency and focus
- Curiosity and innovation
We are building a company that leverages technology, operates with discipline (EOS), and delivers a best-in-class tenant experience.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who can own the financial engine behind our portfolio. This role sits at the center of everything—property performance, development, cash management, and strategic decision-making. You’ll work directly with leadership and external partners to keep our numbers sharp, our reporting tight, and our operations running smoothly.
This role is responsible for owning the accuracy, speed, and clarity of all financial reporting across the portfolio, while building scalable systems that support aggressive growth.
If you like being in the details and understanding the bigger picture, you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Close
- Lead and streamline the month-end close process (target: fast, accurate, consistent)
- Ensure GAAP-compliant financials and clean, audit-ready books
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting to leadership
2. Portfolio-Level Accounting Oversight
- Oversee accounting for ~700K SF portfolio across multiple asset classes
- Ensure accurate property-level P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Maintain clean intercompany accounting and entity structures
- Support property management and asset management teams with financial clarity
3. Systems, Processes, and Controls
- Own and optimize Yardi as the core accounting system
- Build scalable processes that reduce manual work and errors
- Implement strong internal controls and approval workflows
- Drive automation and AI integration where possible
4. Cash Flow & Financial Visibility
- Partner with leadership on cash flow forecasting
- Provide real-time visibility into cash, debt, and obligations
- Help identify risks and opportunities early
- Translate financial data into clear insights for decision-making
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop the accounting function
- Establish clear roles, expectations, and accountability
- Build a high-performance accounting team as the company grows
- Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
6. Strategic Partnership
- Work directly with leadership
- Support acquisitions, underwriting, and financing decisions
- Assist in lender reporting, refinancing, and capital strategy
- Help leadership understand true portfolio performance (NOI, cash flow, returns)
Why This Role is Unique
You won’t just be “doing accounting.” You’ll have a front-row seat to how deals work, how properties perform, and how decisions get made. There’s a lot of ownership here—and a lot of opportunity to shape how we do things as we grow.
- Direct exposure to ownership and key decision-makers
- Ability to build and shape the accounting function from the inside
- Work on real deals, real assets, and real decisions
- High impact on a ~$100M portfolio that is actively growing
- Opportunity to integrate AI and modern systems into accounting
- Be part of a company that is redefining what it means to be a landlord
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s both detail-obsessed and big-picture aware—someone who can keep the numbers tight while understanding how they drive decisions across the business.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong accounting fundamentals and at least 5 years of related financial experience
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting, ideally across multiple entities or properties
- Comfort working with cash flow, budgets, and financial reporting—not just producing numbers, but understanding them
- Exposure to real estate, construction, or asset-based businesses
- The ability to stay organized across a lot of moving pieces—projects, properties, and priorities
- A proactive mindset—you don’t just flag issues, you dig in and help solve them
- Confidence working directly with leadership and external partners
- Strong attention to detail without getting stuck in the weeds
- A systems-oriented thinker who likes improving processes, not just maintaining them
Bonus:
- CPA preferred
- Have experience with tools like Yardi or similar property/accounting systems
What Winning Looks Like (12–24 Months)
- Month-end close completed within 5–7 business days, consistently

- Leadership has clear, real-time visibility into portfolio performance

- Yardi is fully optimized and used at an expert level
- Cash flow forecasting is reliable and used weekly to drive decisions
- Property-level performance is transparent (true NOI, overhead allocation, etc.)

- Minimal surprises. Issues are identified early and solved quickly
