SUMMARY
This position will provide proper record maintenance and appropriate quality care of clients. Will also ensure transition/discharge plan for clients are appropriate and follows rules established by AHCA, SAMH, CARF, Private Insurance and PPBH policy and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Duties and Responsibilities reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all related work assignments that may be inherent to the job.
- Interviewing clients in various settings to obtain information concerning family, emotional, medical, and substance abuse history or other pertinent information. Detail oriented in completing the psychosocial assessments.
- Discusses the goals and implementation of treatment plans, progress toward goals and develop an appropriate transition plan upon admission.
- Provide family sessions per protocol.
- Provide scheduled group therapy and when needed, individual therapy.
- Responsible for proper placement and appointments required prior to discharge.
- Formulates appropriate diagnosis, in terms of the current edition of the DSM and ICD, based on pertinent available information.
- Consults with medical doctors and/or treatment team members concerning treatment goals and objectives.
- Completes all required paperwork and maintenance of client files according to all applicable regulatory standards.
- Performs duties as a court liaison.
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

- Requires a Bachelor’s in Psychology or Mental Health Related field. Two (2) years' experience in the mental health field. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the use of personal computers, and standard office productivity software.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid Class E Drivers’ License for positions that require driving personal or Agency vehicle on Agency business.
- Must maintain a minimum Bodily Injury & Property Liability insurance limit of at least $50,000 for positions that require driving personal own vehicle (POV) on Agency business. (Proof Required)
- PPBH is a 24/7 Agency. All employees must be available as needed when required.
