Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall comfort of our hospitality environments. In this role, you will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, guests, or clients. Normal hours for housekeeping start at 8:15am and end between 1-3pm. Hours can vary. Days are flexible, however some weekends are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and applying appropriate treatments for different surfaces
- Ensure sanitation standards are met through proper waste disposal, disinfecting surfaces, and maintaining hygiene protocols
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment safely using manual handling techniques
- Manage custodial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Making beds and cleaning guest rooms.
- Stocking laundry in housekeeping closets
