Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to facility menus and resident dietary needs.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served safely, promptly, and attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow dietary requirements and special diets, including texture modifications.
- Work collaboratively with dietary and facility staff to ensure excellent service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or similar setting preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation (ServSafe certification a plus).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team.
