Cook

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Cook to join our dietary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation, knowledge of food safety standards, and a commitment to providing quality service to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to facility menus and resident dietary needs.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served safely, promptly, and attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow dietary requirements and special diets, including texture modifications.
• Work collaboratively with dietary and facility staff to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation (ServSafe certification a plus).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Compassion and respect for seniors.
