We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our facility meets cleanliness and infection control standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect all assigned areas
Change bed linens and launder facility linens as needed
Replenish paper products, soap, and other supplies
Remove trash and biohazard waste in accordance with facility policies
Clean and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
Follow all infection prevention and safety protocols
Report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department
Interact courteously with residents, families, and staff
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or senior living preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, reach, and stand for long periods
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques
Must pass background check and health screening requirements
