Clerk & Recorder - Deputy Clerk (Recording)
General: This position performs administrative work in the Clerk & Recorder’s Office for motor vehicle, recording and election functions. This position, however, is primarily assigned to the recording division which is responsible for recording items such as deeds, contracts, agreements, and other official documents; processing marriage licenses and other related duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibility for property, materials, money, and confidential information: This position is responsible for the equipment used in the performance of the job including vehicles, telephone, computer, fax, printer, plotter, digital camera, copier, calculator and other specialized equipment. Confidentiality regarding data and other information maintained by the County is subject to the Colorado Open Records Act or other statutory requirements.
Working Environment/Physical Activities: Work is primarily performed in an office environment with different levels of noise and/or interruptions. Frequent use of computers, including typing on a keyboard and reading on a computer screen; some bending or stooping required. Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 30 pounds. The work environment is typical of an office setting. This position may be subject to interruptions, multiple phone calls and inquiries. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. There might be occasional travel within the County.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess general office skills
- Ability to work with the public
- Valid Colorado Drivers License
- Must pass background check
