Compliance Senior Associate – Real Estate Investment (REIT) & Asset Management
Location: Miami, FL (on-site, in office)
About:
Our client is a leading real estate investment (REIT) and asset management firm seeking a Compliance Senior Associate to join its growing team. This role works closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and business leaders to support compliance programs across private funds, hedge funds, and related investment vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Review and advise on marketing, fundraising, and investor communications from a compliance perspective
- Draft, update, and maintain firmwide compliance policies and procedures
- Support regulatory filings with the SEC, CFTC/NFA, and international regulatory bodies
- Manage trade restrictions, restricted lists, and potential MNPI reviews
- Assist with regulatory exams, audits, and mock reviews
- Partner with investment and operations teams on compliance matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6 years of relevant compliance experience in private equity, hedge funds, financial services, asset management, compliance consultancy, law, or real estate
- Strong knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
