Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Serve as the company’s chief financial strategist, advising the CEO and executive team on fiscal planning, risk management, and growth opportunities.
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Process Excellence:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve financial processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Establish best practices for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Project Accounting:
- Oversee all aspects of project-based financial management, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
- Partner with operations to ensure accurate job costing and timely reporting.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration planning for acquisitions.
- Identify and evaluate strategic M&A opportunities to accelerate growth.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial alignment across departments.
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Deliver timely, accurate financial reports to the CEO, Board, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within construction or project-based industries.
- Deep expertise in process optimization, project accounting, and M&A execution.
- Strong business development acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
