Integrated Pre School Teacher at Park Ave Elementary

Webster Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Integrated Pre School Teacher at Park Ave Elementary School. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Massachusetts Early Childhood (PreK–2) License. Candidates who hold both a Massachusetts Early Childhood (PreK–2) License and a Massachusetts Teacher of Students with and Moderate Disabilities (PreK–8) License or dual licensure in Early Childhood and Special Education, are preferred. The Park Avenue Elementary School Integrated Preschool Teacher provides developmentally appropriate instruction and support to preschool-aged children with and without disabilities within an inclusive early childhood classroom setting. The Integrated Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment that promotes social-emotional development, communication, early literacy and numeracy skills, play-based learning, independence, and school readiness. The Integrated Preschool Teacher develops and implements individualized supports and accommodations for students with disabilities while fostering meaningful participation and learning opportunities for all children. The teacher collaborates closely with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student growth. The position emphasizes inclusive practices and opportunities for students to learn alongside their typically developing peers in accordance with the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) requirements. Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, organization, data collection, and problem-solving skills are essential. Knowledge of child development, early childhood standards, inclusive practices, early childhood assessments, and evidence-based interventions for young learners is preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children, including students with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, communication needs, and other disabilities, is highly desirable.
