What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Pathology Assistant position at Park Avenue Elementary?
Webster Public School is seeking a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant to provide services to students with disabilities under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist.
Duties include but are not limited to:
*Implement therapeutic programs and treatments within the instruction and guidelines established by the SLP
*Assist individual and small groups of students through instructional activities designed to remediate the identified communication disability
*Participate in IEP Team meetings as requested
*Assist with creating goals/objectives with SLP
*Collect and organize data and information on student needs and progress
*Report on students' progress
*Communicate with parents, teachers and other other specialists (OT/PT)
*Participate in professional development opportunities
*Perform any other related task or duty at the direction of the building principal, supervisor of special education or designee
Salary : $36,153 - $65,374
