Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Baker to join our team at our newly opening Paris Baguette location in Rancho Bernardo this coming January.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in baking bread, pastries, and other baked goods, and take pride in creating high-quality products that meet Paris Baguette’s standards for freshness, flavor, and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other bakery items according to Paris Baguette recipes and quality standards.
- Follow daily production schedules to ensure all items are ready for display and sale.
- Work closely with the production and cake teams to maintain smooth operations and meet customer demand.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and report supply needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
- Take ownership of consistency, quality, and timing in all baking tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in baking, pastry production, or food preparation preferred.
- Basic understanding of dough preparation, proofing, and oven operations.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent product quality.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and stand for long periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: From $20.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
- Expected Hours: Around 40 hours per week
- Shift: Must be able to start as early as 2:00 AM and work during morning/day shifts
