Paris Baguette is coming to Thousand Oaks, and we are looking for the "heart of the community" to join our production team. We are on a mission to bring expertly crafted baked goods to every neighborhood. If you have a passion for artisanal quality and joyful service, we want to meet you.
🚀 LEAD TRAINING PROGRAM
We are seeking Leads to participate in a 4-week intensive training program starting in April to master our signature recipes and standards before our May 2026 opening.
🍰 THE ROLES
Lead Bakers:
- Prepare and bake all bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec and on schedule.
- Handle prep tasks: scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing product.
- Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely.
- Monitor bake times and temperatures for consistency.
Lead Cakers:
- Decorate and assemble cakes and desserts to recipe and visual brand standards.
- Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch.
- Execute elegant piping and whimsical designs that bring guest celebrations to life.
- Manage daily production plans and maintain organized decorating stations.
✨ WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: 1 years of experience in high-volume bakery production or cake decorating.
- Skillset: Familiarity with piping bags, whipped cream, recipe execution, and production timing.
- Safety: Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labeling practices. Food handler card required (ServSafe preferred).
- Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Attitude: A team-first mindset and a passion for Paris Baguette’s mission and values.
