? LEAD TRAINING PROGRAMWe are seeking Lead Cakers for an intensive 4-week training program starting in April. This allows you to master our signature recipes, specialized piping techniques, and brand standards before our official opening in May.
Note: Candidates who do not move forward in the Lead Caker role will still have the opportunity to be considered for Caker positions closer to our Grand Opening.
? THE ROLE
- Decorate and assemble cakes and desserts to recipe and visual brand standards.
- Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components.
- Use elegant piping and whimsical designs to make every occasion memorable.
- Manage daily production plans and workflows to meet café demand.
- Ensure cake displays are organized and visually appealing to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe decorating station.
- Monitor product quality and consistency because details matter.
- Support special orders and guest customization needs when applicable.
- Help train new Cake Team Members in decoration techniques and café procedures.
- Complete waste logs, production sheets, or prep reports as required.
- Receive, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies efficiently.
- Adapt to other bakery tasks as needed because we are all one team.
✨ WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 1 year of cake decorating or culinary experience is required.
- Familiarity with piping bags, whipped cream, fruit décor, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labeling practices. Food Handler’s Certification is required.
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and pride in presentation.
- Team-first attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
