Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated Perfume Sales Associate to join our growing fragrance retail team! We are looking for someone who has a passion for perfumes, a strong understanding of fragrances, and enjoys helping customers find their perfect scent.
The ideal candidate should have previous knowledge or experience with perfumes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding fragrances based on their preferences, personality, and budget.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on perfumes, including fragrance notes, scent families, longevity, and differences between fragrances.
- Explain the differences between Eau de Parfum (EDP), Eau de Toilette (EDT), and other fragrance concentrations.
- Stay informed about popular perfume brands, new fragrance releases, and current fragrance trends.
- Assist both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking customers with product recommendations and purchases.
- Promote products, suggest complementary fragrances, and help achieve store sales goals.
- Process customer transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store, including fragrance displays and testers.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking merchandise, and monitoring product availability.
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous knowledge of perfumes and fragrances is required.
- Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is required.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with popular designer fragrance brands is a strong plus.
- Understanding of fragrance notes, scent profiles, and perfume concentrations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with customers.
- Ability to recommend fragrances based on individual customer preferences.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn about new products.
