The Role: Clinical Support & Patient Experience
As a Technician, you work hand-in-hand with our eye doctors. You are the very first person the patient sees when they "go to the back," meaning you get to set the tone for their clinical visit!
Your dynamic daily impact will include:
- Tech-Driven Patient Work-Ups: Welcoming patients with great energy and performing initial "pre-testing" using high-tech, advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Medical Data Entry: Chatting with patients to gather accurate information regarding their vision goals, medical history, and current medications. Fast, accurate typing and strong computer skills are essential here to keep our digital charts moving efficiently!
- Diagnostic Testing: Learning the fascinating science behind eyes by performing specialized testing like retinal photography, visual fields, and eye pressure checks.
- Exam Room Prep: Keeping our exam rooms sanitized, organized, and perfectly prepped so the doctor can step in and focus 100% on the patient.
