What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Office Assistant position at The Kidney Clinic?
We are currently seeking to find a Medical Assistant (bilingual preferred) who is friendly, responsible and reliable. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurse practitioner in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the clinic manager
Qualifications:
- Conducting intake on patients' vital signs (i.e. pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height, etc.)
- Transcribe medical charting for Providers (medical scribe).
- Completing patient health history in the electronic medical record
- Demonstrating knowledge of anatomy and proficient in medical terminology
- Friendly, professional demeanor and ability to keep work efficiently and quickly during clinic hours or rounds.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Certificate preferred
- 1-3 years of medical assistant or related experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
