Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Operations Management Trainee to join our warehouse operations team in Montgomery, Illinois. This role is designed for candidates who want to build a career in logistics, warehouse operations, and team management.
The selected candidate will receive hands-on training in daily warehouse operations, inventory management, employee coordination, performance reporting, and process improvement. Strong performers may have opportunities to advance into warehouse supervision or operations management positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, inspection, and inventory operations.
- Coordinate daily work assignments and communicate operational priorities to warehouse associates.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, accuracy, and quality performance.
- Track employee attendance, labor hours, and operational data.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel and internal warehouse systems.
- Identify operational issues and assist management with process improvements.
- Communicate with customers, internal departments, and overseas teams when needed.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Support management with additional operational projects and assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interest in warehouse operations and logistics management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Mandarin Chinese and English communication skills are required because this position regularly communicates with overseas teams.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or team-lead experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and eligible for W-2 employment.
